Sure, there are some neat things about the X-Box 360...
But it was rushed, only uses standard-format DVDs (limiting the game), has TONS of problems, and is only sort of backwards compatible.
That and it's a commercial nightmare, the likes of that which only Microsoft can produce.

Yup, I think the PS3 will have it beat like that. *snaps fingers*

Yep. Here's a comparison:
X-Box 360: Processor Speed: 3.2GHz Graphics: 500mhz (500 million triangles per second) Memory: 512 MB ram HD: 20GB (must purchase upgrade) Media format: Standard DVD (up to about 10 GB) Look: Stolen from Apple (sleek, white, curvy, plastique, sexy) Backwards-Compatibility: Sometimes. Controllers: up to 4 Internet: Wired Ethernet connectivity, Wi-Fi A, B, G ready Details: Comes in two models, basic and uber. Basic is worthless, and costs $100 less than uber. Can only play a few old X-Box games. Rushed through production, recalls are occurring. Many problems and errors. Microsoft-produced. Rushed mainly to beat Sony, the only real competitor. Ended up biting themselves in the ass. Disc only stores about 10GB. 1 terraflop processing.
---
PS3: Processor Speed: 3.2 GHz (powerPC) Graphics: 550mhz (550 million triangles per second) Memory: 256mb main ram, 256mb video ram (512MB total) HD: None Media format: Blu-Ray Disc (up to 50GB storage) Look: White, sleek, lettering stolen from Spider Man movie Backwards-Compatibility: complete (duh) Controllers: up to 7 via bluetooth Internet: Wired ethernet, Wi-Fi B, G ready, bluetooth 2.0 Details: Almost twice as fast (1.8 terraflops), better games (imho), complete backwards-compatibility, NOT RUSHED (they wanted to put out a complete, quality product), faster and sleeker than X-Box 360. Due to Blu-Ray technology, games can store better graphics and more information (five times more than standard DVDs), meaning that the PS3 can play on a single disc what the X-Box 360 would have to split into 5 (less disc-switching). Imagine, the entire Final Fantasy series, from 1 to 10, all on one disc. Couldn't do that with the X-Box 360 (and not just because of licensing issues). Lacks a hard drive, but when you can store 1GB or more on a simple flash drive, what's the point? Memory cards will have plenty of storage space.

So, in short....
X-Box 360: Below average product. PS3: Blows the rest out of the water.
